BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test)

BITSAT is another prestigious Engineering Examination conducted by Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani for admissions to the engineering degree courses at the BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa ,Hyderabad & Dubai.

Eligibility Criteria: To apply for BITSAT examination the candidates must have to secure a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in +2 Board Examination. In addition, they must have to secure a minimum of 60% in PCM subject separately.

BITS Selection Procedure: On the basis of the performance of the candidates in the BITSAT Examination and Class XII marks.

Type of Examination: BITSAT is a Computer Based Online Test. Duration of BITSAT examination is of three hours with 150 multiple choice questions

The BITSAT Question Paper is divided into four sections:

Section A - Physics ( 40 questions)
Section B - Chemistry ( 40 questions)
Section C - English Proficiency ( 25 questions) & Logical Reasoning (15 Questions)
Section D - Mathematics (45 questions)

For each correct answer the candidate will get three marks each, & for each wrong answer One mark will be deducted.

Date of examination: Online examination dates for BITSAT are tentatively between first week of May to Ist week June.

BITSAT Result: First week of July.
